Steven E. Koonin

Steven E. Koonin is a theoretical physicist and professor known for his work in energy and climate science. He served as the Chief Scientist for BP and as Under Secretary for Science at the U.S. Department of Energy during the Obama administration. Koonin is also the author of "Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn't, and Why It Matters," where he critically examines the current state of climate science.
